NAME CHANGE POLICY/CORRECTION PROCEDURE

Name Change Policy 

Alitalia reminds you that name changes are not permitted. To avoid unnecessary penalties and inconveniences to our passengers, prior to creating bookings, please be sure to match all passengers' names to the names shown on their respective passports: the name on a booking, ticket, and associated Passport must be identical.

Please note that if an error is made and the name on the booking/ticket is different from that of the passport, all fare rules and penalties apply to the issued tickets.


Name Correction Procedure
Travel agents must send email request for name changes to Alitalia Sales Support at least 3 business days prior to departure to  SalesSupportUSCA@alitalia.com.

US Corporate accounts (Global Agencies, NYS, TMC, Corporations) should contact send requests for name changes to corporatedesk@alitalia.it.

Online Travel Agents should send request for name changes to internet.services@alitalia.it.  
Strict procedures must be followed for name corrections, and the booking (PNR) may not be modified or space will be lost.
